On Saturday in bright sunshine & in a perfect idyllic country location in Auvergne I had the joy of playing open air music to what I'd call young .... mainly 30ish years old .... public. Just wanted to let you know that I sang Michael's beautiful song "Coming down the road" - the same one I sung on the day of his funeral. I told them in French about my good friend Michael Robbins & that he'd written it. They all joined in singing it & the words COMING DOWN THE ROAD danced in the sunshine & soared upwards
